I had an older friend try something similar, except he fell and crushed his nuts when he crash-landed on the bike. I never wanted to do anything like that (I did laugh at him, though).
Making emergency services help these idiots instead of helping others is the thing that pisses me off. It's like morons who hike with zero prep and then need to be rescued.

The healthcare is "free" to a certain extend regardless of what caused it. He could be fined for doing something illegal though, as I can not imagine this to be legal. But that has no connection to the healthcare.

Comparing this guy to Alex Honnold is like comparing the guy who blew himself up in his homemade rocket to the Apollo program. Honnold has done one of if not the single greatest physical feats in human history free soloing el cap, and got legal permission and months of buildup and prep to climb the building. An easy climb for him.
In fairness to Honold, he didn't just climb Taipei 101 for a Netflix film like he hadn't climbed anything before. In fact, Taipei 101 might well have been one of his easier ones.
It's almost certainly illegal in Germany under §315 StGB and would cost him his driver's license. Denmark isn't much different I think. Pretty stupid to film your crimes for internet clout.
I'll say the only redeeming fact in the attempt is that traffic is completely stopped due to the drawbridge being up and he did it on the side with no traffic underneath. I've seen other idiots with similar bridge stunts and they do it with moving traffic underneath. In those situations, if the idiot falls, not only do they injure/kill themself, they also are likely to cause a major traffic accident. It's one thing to be an idiot and risk yourself. It's infinitely worse if you involve other people in your idiocy.

An impressive thing to see but also as a parent if I was that person at the other side I’d be fucking livid. Imagine having to explain to my partner that a guy on a bike fell out of the sky onto our child and killed them. Reckless idiot.
Impressive? Yeah. What if he falls and hurts anyone a part from himself? Say he gets rolled over a car? Imagine the person driving, how would it feel afterwards.
Okay, the title is "never give up," but he completely wussed-out when it came to jumping the open draw bridge. He had decent momentum coming down the bridge structure, if he had just hammered down, I think he could have made a seriously horrifying video of his own death.
And I'm sure the dude didn't even think for 1 second about the pedestrians, drivers, and cleanup crew that would be traumatized and potentially injured if he went splat on the ground.
Sometimes it's better to just give up, before you end up as an anecdote in tomorrow's newspaper.
