"Jaaa, wer ist ein Braver? Ja, wer ist ein ganz Lieber? Ja, hm? Ja! Wer hat gerade fein Kacka gemacht, hm? jaaa, ganz fein!
Na komm! Komm!
Ja, wer will ein Leckerli? Wer will ein Leckerli, hm? Ja! Hm?"
This includes Trump, Kash Patel, and everyone else trying to co-opt the team as “right wing”. If you’re a long time player/fan. You’re still going to have to live in this community after the tourists are gone. So think about how you conduct yourself and work to be someone who will still have a place here after all the brainrotted politics people have moved onto to the next thing
The current top bracket starts at $190k and not indexed…. feels like a punishment to want to work harder and make more. what do we all think?
EDIT: majority keep missing the point…. i’m saying it disincentivise me to work harder if given the chance to make more because it’s not worth it…. why would i do overtime or work more for 55 cents to the dollar.
see below illustration of approx take home compared to other countries.
· Mieten runter
· kostenfreie Kita für jedes Kind
· Bus und Bahn kostenfrei für alle
· Krankenhäuser erhalten
· gute Arbeit und höhere Löhne
Unsere drei zentralen Botschaften
I am a down right ugly person. It is what it is, I wear make up but still people see me as weird looking.
Bc of this I specifically dont go into stores like sephora and ulta. Ppl are generally only nice to the pretty or average looking customers and I have enough hate in my life that I dont need to add more so I order online.
I went into ulta looking for a certain spray by charlotte tilbury. I had never tried it so I could have asked a million questions.
I walked over to the tilbury corner, which was sort of tucked into the back of the store and this older, pretty looking sales associate was there...in my head I was thinking 'Wtf, sheeee has to be there'. Shes the type of woman who would make me feel like shit.
So as I am walking over she looks at me, looks down and moves her stuff a few feet away from the tilbury area.
I walk over and take like 8 minutes looking at stuff. As I was there the associate said "hi, can I help you find anything?" to at least two other people.
I was so pissed and just knew this was going to happen, didnt mean it didnt hurt tho (I am so sensitive I know).
I turned around and in a sweet voice said "you know, I couldve used some help". She said, you didnt look like you needed help, I said "you look like someone who has been in this indstry for years, you should know you ask everyone if they need help, its just basic politeness". She said "yeah ok" and I just turned around dropped the product off back where it was found and just fully left. I know I am superrrr sensitive, but was I an asshole?
Edit:
-The only reason I was irritated was because she skipped over me while saying hi, and asking 'do you need help' to everyone else...If she said nothing to nobody, I wouldn't feel bad...
-Yes, this is a post about how ugly people get treated, along with an AITAH post.
-In my experience, if you are happy and smiley when you walk into a store and you are ugly, you will still get treated with negativity
-Yes, I now can tell that I am entitled, tooooo sensitive, and need to go to therapy. Thanks for giving me that advice!
Since c.ai increased its ads, this subreddit is plagued with unnecessary hate. And the devs don't seem to be trying to defend themselves, so I'm going to speak for them. Now, I'm going to educate you about why c.ai was right about increasing their ads so you don't unknowingly puke hate on the app and look stupid.
I am going to list all my sources at the end of this post.
SERVERS:
Let's understand how servers for c.ai work. Every user is grouped into a server with an LLM (large language model). LLM is the bot you use and complain about every day. Just with a personality they were told to act accordingly to. And these servers cost money. And c.ai has around 6 MILLION users daily. And that's a lot of money.
THE CHOICE:
Devs had 2 choices: Either lower the LLM quality so the servers cost less or somehow make more money for the servers and increase/keep the bots' quality. And the so-called selfish company chose the best for their users. They added more ads for the cost of better quality.
CONCLUSION:
Eat it up. I'm sorry if I offended someone, but this subreddit is filled with dumb kids who don't know how to RP for god's sake and complain at every mistake the devs or the bots make without using any ounce of their brains or reasoning. You won't die if you see a maximum 20 second ad every 5 messages or a billboard ad at the top of the screen that doesn't even interfere with 10% of your screen. Ever since the ad update, I've noticed the increase in quality with the bots. Look at Chai! They have ads every 3 messages and their bot quality is a mountain wide compared to CharacterAI.
Subjective shot. Sometimes the audience is not meant to take everything on screen at face value. Certain shots are meant to depict the perspective of certain characters, rather than the object reality of those characters.
Notice there isn’t a transitional shot that depicts an action, or a passage of time to show how Alicia suddenly moved into Renoir and Aline’s spot. The preceding cutaway to her backside doesn’t qualify, as she’s already in her new position - now directly in front of the grave instead of to its side like in the beginning. This is the first clue we’re not seeing objective reality from this point, otherwise the lack of transition in editing is considered major continuity error.
Next in the grand final farewell shot, you are not seeing other Dessendres in this moment is because the cinematography is telling you: all the canvas characters before her only exist inside her head; again it’s not an objective reality.
We can see the same technique in Sophie’s gommage. Was the couple literally brought up to the Monolith, while the rest of the world blacks out around them? No, it’s to symbolise their focus is on the Paintress and nothing else.
The colouration, lighting and soundtrack also does not fit the theme of abandonment.
Keep seeing this misconception/disinformation, and I’m tired
I'm a lib who has gone to the ICE Out marches, joined my neighborhood ICE Watch chat, given hundreds of dollars directly to immigrant neighbors keeping a low profile during Metro SUrge, volunteered to haul food shelf donations, and provided legal help to ICE detainees. But I am dismayed by the activist class's refusal to acknowledge that the situation wrt ICE has improved since Bovino left and their delusional and/or exploitative effort to keep folks in crisis-mode.
That is apparently a ban-worthy offense to the r/ minneapolis mods. The post that got me banned:
Feeling burned out? Try to break free from the Minneapolis activist echo chamber.
Here’s an idea to help mitigate burnout and stress: stop badgering people with the false narrative that “this ICE invasion” is still a thing. We won. Take the W. I understand there are still several hundred “extra” ICE agents stationed in MN, but everything that made it feel like an invasion in January and early February has stopped. We can see with our own eyes and talking to our own networks (via Signal and IRL) that ICE is not terrorizing our city as they were under Bovino.
IMO it is disrespectful and exploitative of the trauma people endured that certain folks and groups on the left keep trying to stoke engagement and fundraise off this issue as if nothing has changed. E.g., 200 DSA goofballs (198 of them white) saying they’re not gonna pay rent out of solidarity with their immigrant neighbors. I guess that’s just how these things always play out — organic, diffuse, bottom-up movements get co-opted by interest groups.
But the reality of the situation today is far different, for the better, from the reality of the situation 4 weeks ago. Organic networks providing food and financial support are in place, as are networks of pro bono lawyers to help with habeas petitions and the like. No resting on laurels, but it’s time for the Minneapolis activist class to downshift from sky-is-falling mode and join the rest of us in the real world.
So many of these losers posting have private posts. I don’t know much about Reddit so i could be wrong but that seems sus. Even if having your posts on private is common my gut tells me they aren’t fans. Just the way they talk about our players it doesn’t sound like how people in the sub we’re talking before shit hit the fan lol
First off, consoles need to actually stand out against PC’s again. Exclusives keep consoles relevant. If they all have the same games then console is only good because it’s simple to use and it’s cheaper than PC. Not good enough imo. And I think PC’s will eventually get console-like options through Valve and Microsoft. Which will lead to consoles becoming less distinct.
Secondly, I believe that companies get to have some freedom in how they decide to improve their platform. If Nintendo wants to make a game specially made for the Switch 2 how is that unfair to consumers? They own the ip, the console, they provide the money and they control the dev team. So why shouldn’t they be able to make it exclusive as part of a strategy?
A business is not being unethical by selling their product under their own roof. If Sony or Xbox wants to keep everything locked to their own consoles then that’s fair game and it’s up to the market to reveal if it’ll be accepted by consumers or not. And it seems to be working pretty good for Nintendo.
But I don’t think it would be right for a big company to buy up a chunk of the market and then make it exclusive.
